Tips
Always try to store the wines in your cellar with the label facing up. If you do this, you will always know where the sediment has settled. Also, if you plan ahead, you can stand a bottle up the night before you drink it to allow most of the sediment to settle into the bottom of the bottle. This used to be an issue only with older wines but with unfined/unfiltered wines being the current fashion, you will often find sediment in even the youngest of wines.
